Posted by shkoles on October 1, 2008

Hey guys,

This weeks episode was absolutely amazing and I’m sure everyone can not wait for next weeks to air! So many questions and things to look forward to in the coming weeks, Heroes is definitely a reinvention this year.

Enjoy this description and promo video.

PREPARE FOR THE STRUGGLE AHEAD — GUEST STARS MALCOLM MCDOWELL (LINDERMAN), DAVID ANDERS (ADAM MONROE) AND ADAIR TISHLER (MOLLY) RETURN — Seeing a future where nearly everyone has abilities, a world destined for destruction, Peter resolves to prevent this earth-shattering end — whatever the cost — and so takes on a dark, unwieldy ability to save the world — gambling (wrong) that it won’t destroy him and everything he loves first. After allowing Angela’s (Cristine Rose) half of “the formula” to be stolen, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) set out to uncover the identity of the Villain who hired Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) — and must consult with the person who knows these rogues best…Adam Monroe (guest star David Anders). After the bloodbath at the bank, H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) resolves to get rid of his new partner. Meanwhile, determined to be a hero, Claire (Hayden Panettiere) hits the road after one of the Villains from H.R.G.’s old files. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) gives in to impulse. Linderman (guest star Malcolm McDowell) and Molly (guest star Adair Tishler) return in unexpected manners. A new romance ignites between two Heroes. Waltz With Bashir Review

Posted by Atilla89 on September 28, 2008

I just came back from seeing this movie and was really blown away. Everything just fitted together, the animation, the soundtrack (mostly early 80s pop rock) and especially the way it ended. The way the animation suddenly gives way to graphic news archive footage just shocks the system in a really touching way. As you would have realised, I have little sympathy for the Palestinian situation then and now, however, seeing human suffering regardless of the context still affects me. I won’t bore you an outline of the plot, you can see it on wikipedia, however, the animation flips between the main character (Ari Folman), who is also the director of the film, trying to find out what happened to him in Lebanon and the events and experiences of the different interviewees in Lebanon. The film is quite violent but not in a Saving Private Ryan way, it is violent in the fact that yes there is lots of blood and dead bodies but there is a sort of unreality attached to it as well. It’s very easy to imagine that this is just a TV show for kids if it wasn’t for the subject being shown.

There has been some discussion on how the film portrays the Sabra and Shatila massacre. In my view it sticks fairly close to the truth, it doesn’t go on like some leftist film and point to Israel as being the only one to blame yet it doesn’t disregard that Israel, specifically Ariel Sharon played a part in allowing the Phalangists (Lebanese Maronite Christians) militiamen to enter two Palestinian refugee camps and ignoring the reports of mass killing that took place there. I personally would recommend people to go see this movie although make sure you do go in with an open mind and be prepared to have a whole lot more questions then answers.

Heroes Season 3 Rare Preview – News Update

Posted by shkoles on August 28, 2008

Hey guys,

just thought id give an update on some very exciting heroes news!

Ausiello just spilled the beans out and said that, there’s a strong possibility of Seth Green & Breckin Meyer are joining to Heroes cast. They’ll not be regular cast members, because they’re pretty busy with Robot Chicken, but there will be multi-episode story arc for them.

Real-life BFFs and frequent collaborators Seth Green and Breckin Meyer are nearing a deal to join the cast of Heroes for multi-episode arcs, sources confirm to me exclusively.

As I first teased in this week’s episode of Ausiello TV, the Robot Chicken duo will play Atlanta-based comic book nerds aficionados who cross paths with (and perhaps serve as advisors to) one of the Heroes.
